Building work has started on a new 192-bedroom Hampton by Hilton hotel in Leeds with an anticipated opening expected late 2019.

The 14-storey Hampton by Hilton Leeds will form part of a scheme to regenerate Bridge Street in Leeds.

It will be on a site once occupied by British Gas. The site is located in the city centre close to the Victoria Gate shopping centre.

Hilton currently has two hotels in Leeds: Hilton Leeds City and DoubleTree by Hilton Leeds City Centre.
