Plans for an Old Trafford Hotel

Old Trafford Supporters Club has submitted plans for a 139-bedroom hotel and supporters' club next to Manchester United's ground. The ten-storey building has been earmarked for a vacant plot of land between the Bridgewater Canal, Wharfside Way and Sir Matt Busby Way. The hotel will include bars, restaurants and public areas for watching matches.

The exterior of the building will feature United's colours of red, white and black. The hotel and its facilities will be restricted to members of the Old Trafford Supporters Club and their affiliates and will not be open for use by the general public on match days or at any other times other than by prior agreement.
