Stanley House Hotel to open new bedrooms summer 2012

Stanley House Hotel in the village of Mellor in Lancashire is extending its facilities with a new spa and 18 additional bedrooms. The ‘topping out’ ceremony for the new extension has been held recently. The work will be completed in summer 2012.

Stanley House Hotel is a grade-II listed 17th century manor house set in 54 acres of Ribble Valley countryside. Currently there are 12 bedrooms, a restaurant and bar and six purpose-built meeting rooms, all air conditioned with natural daylight and wi-fi – the largest seating up to 200 delegates.

The additional bedrooms at Stanley House Hotel will be housed in a new block adjacent to the main house. Each room will be 36 sq-m and individually themed. The new spa will incorporate five treatment rooms, a double treatment room with razul, salt and aroma steam rooms, Finnish sauna, hydrotherapy pool, relaxation lounge, experience showers and an ice fountain. The facility will also feature a new gym and a Pilates studio.

Stanley House Hotel is located in the village of Mellor with its panoramic views of the Ribble Valley countryside between Preston and Blackburn.
