Tyneside Cinema is one of several unusual meeting venues in the centre of Newcastle on Tyne. Tyneside Cinema was built in 1937 as the Newcastle News Theatre. It is based in Pilgrim Street in the heart of Newcastle and it has a variety of meeting spaces available for corporate hire.

There are three cinema auditoria in total. The largest is the ‘Classic’ seating up to 260 delegates. The Classic is a fully restored auditorium which features balcony seating in its Circle and a stage that's ideal for awards ceremonies. The smaller ‘Electra’ will seat up to 144 people with a large screen. The ‘Roxy’ is the smallest auditorium seating 80 but it does have the Tyneside Bar alongside which makes it ideal for presentations and receptions. There is also a boardroom for up to 30 delegates and a room called ‘Headspace’ for relaxed and creative training. This seats around 10 delegates in comfort.

A full catering package is available and a whole range of technical equipment is on hand or available to hire if not.
