Snoozebox the portable hotel, or 'pop-up' hotel, operator has agreed terms for the provision of an 80 bedroom hotel at Nigg Energy Park in Inverness. The contract runs until April 2014 and the hotel will open on 14 September 2013. Nigg Energy Park is currently being upgraded to meet the burgeoning requirements of the offshore oil and gas sector by providing deep water access.

Snoozebox has provided temporary accommodation at the Edinburgh Festival this year as well as at Goodwood Revival 2013.

Snoozebox units are metal containers which have been transformed into accommodation blocks with each container adapted to form either four comfort rooms or three family sized rooms. Space is at a premium although each unit does have climate control and is furnished with a double bed, an en-suite wet room, wireless internet access and a personal safe.
